Educational outreach

Educational outreach serves diverse and differently abled adult and at-risk youth populations, immersing them in interactive performances and dance workshops illustrating how ideas and conversation tangibly morph into expressive movement sequences providing the communal opportunity to experience the often magical and life-giving impact of dance and dreaming.

Our outreach partners include the Texas School for the Blind and the Visually Impaired, Con Mi Madre, The Mary Lee Foundation, the Arc of the Capital Area, Marshall Middle School and Northside High School (both Title One schools). Through our dance workshops, community members experience dance and moving in unexpected ways with theirs peers which supports self-expression, nonverbal forms of communication, a sense of belonging, and self-esteem.
